#HauntedLIVE - The Village, Mansfield 17-01-16

THE BOYS "WERE" BACK IN TOWN....
(but if you missed it don't worry)

The #HauntedLIVE team were amazed by Sunday night's HauntedLIVE Ghost Hunt. The Village Mansfield didn't let us down, proving once again that this location is a fantastic place to investigate.

So much happened, it was hard to keep track of everything, as soon as we walked in there was taps, footsteps, bangs, shadows, things being thrown, voices and so much more.

Didn't catch it? Here's the footage from the event.
(spoiler alert: keep a look out for the pulsating torch AND especially keep your ears peeled around 45 minutes into the first video, it's all very intriguing)

As ever we'd appreciate your comments and thoughts.

Issue 14 - The Enfield Haunting

38 years ago I was but a mere young boy, out on my space hopper at the weekends, thinking I was the Fonz from Happy Days, listening to Showaddywaddy and The Bay City Rollers and for many years I thought that the biggest thing to happen in 1977 was the death of Elvis Presley. How wrong was I?

Thanks to power of TV Drama “The Enfield Poltergeist” case has been spirited into the modern paranormal world engaging a whole new audience, it’s the biggest thing to grace the paranormal for a long time and it seems apt that HAUNTED pays homage and respect to it from its origins and its real-life cast to its current make-over and dramatization of what happened? Issue 14 of Haunted Magazine features exclusive ‘Enfield’ interviews with all thing past and present as well as its usual plethora of quality researched, written & designed paranormal content.

We are FREE magazine about the paranormal and consider it our duty and privilege to take you on a spooky journey with over 120 pages of things that go bump in the night from cover to end. ENJOY!!

And remember #dontbenormal - be PARANORMAL!

Issue 13 with Zak Bagans

Unlucky for some but LUCKY for you, Haunted Magazine is BACK with its first issue of 2015 and 13th issue but we’re feeling the luck as we have a fantastic magazine packed full of all things spooky and ghostly for you from cover to end. If there’s one American paranormal TV show that has taken the world by storm it is Ghost Adventures and we’re delighted to have their main man Zak Bagans gracing our cover. His new book “I am Haunted” is also out and we’re fortunate enough to have 10 copies of the book to give away to our readers, you lucky lot.
what an issue, yes it maybe our 13

I am sure that you can see that we have had a make-over here at Haunted Magazine, new logo, new style approach to the magazine, even Andy the designer has had a pedicure. We have always been an ever changing, ever growing magazine, the quality features and quality design will always be an essential part of the magazine but we’re not afraid to rip up our rulebook and start over again and a little bit of dusting away the cobwebs never does anyone no harm (apart from the spiders).

Issue 12 is for life, not just for Halloween!

We say that with a paranormal tongue in our cheek as, purely coincidentally (honestly), we launch Issue 12 of Haunted a few days before October 31st!! Having nearly reached the “teenage” issues of the magazine we are hastily prepping ourselves from being the nice kid on the block to adopting the “rebellious” and “angst ridden” rage against the paranormal machine stance. We’ll stop being the quirky kid of the paranormal genre and become the quirky ‘spotty’ kid of the paranormal genre.

Joking apart, we are embarking on a massive change here at Haunted HQ, we’ve always been innovative with our ideas, features and design, always been prepared to take a risk and always welcomed the chance to shed our skin and re-invent ourselves, it’s what keeps us going. We’ve built up our audience over the last couple of years by taking this stance, we don’t profess to understand the paranormal nor do we try to explain it, we don’t preach to you and tell you the way it should be, we do what a magazine should do – ENTERTAIN YOU!! You are the devourers of our paranormal bread and butter, sometimes it toasted, sometimes it cuts triangularly, and sometimes we tease you with extra fillings of jam – because that’s how we roll!!

Issue 11 - Who you gonna call?!

You can ask a thousand different people what they would like in a paranormal magazine and you can get a thousand different answers – “something factual”, “stuff and nonsense”, “legends of old”, “haunted locations” and the responses will go on and on, the truth is that you can’t please everyone all of the time, the doubters will dismiss the “something factual”, the serious hard-core paranormal fans will poo-poo the “stuff and nonsense” and so on.

That is why Haunted Digital Magazine stretches the paranormal sector more than any other magazine of its type, there’s a little bit of something for everyone and a little bit of everything for someone. It’s something that we’ve been passionate about since we first started, yes we’re known as the jokers of the paranormal world because of the light-hearted approach but to us it’s about making a magazine that appeals to a wide variety of the paranormal public and yes we like to mix it up in the paranormal world and yes we like to have a laugh and a joke but if you strip the humour away you will see that there is sometimes a real dark and serious side to the magazine, we do respect the paranormal, we don’t profess to understand it or try to explain it and we do what we do because we want to do what we do and some of the paranormal people love what we do and understand why we do what we do.

Issue X - with X appeal!

Haunted Digital Magazine is the definitive paranormal magazine that takes a fun, fresh, informative, interesting and entertaining look at all things spooky and ghostly. Not wanting to rest on our paranormal laurels, Issue X, our brand new issue is set to become the spookiest one to date featuring haunted locations from all over the world, including paranormal features from an array of diverse and eclectic writing talent.

If you want wall-to-wall mediums, love and light, sloppy ploppy paranormal then this is not the magazine for you. If you want full on ghost stories of haunted locations, scary stories of the macabre and something that can give you that paranormal twist then Haunted Digital Magazine is the magazine for you.

Issue 8 - The Halloween Special 2

Never before in the history of Haunted Digital Magazine has a cover stirred such feeling as the Issue 8. To be honest, the opinion divided the office as much as it did the fans. As the designer, I just loved the “Memphis Belle” type art. I just thought it matched a fun, stylish and paranormal with a twist magazine. But it has divided fans and left me scratching my head. So here we go. The version here is the 2nd cover, the one that will be on the app. The content in both magazines is the same. So here’s an experiment.

The Halloween issues are always fun to make. It’s such a great time for the paranormal, the supernatural and the imagination. We have a cracking mix for you here: Fred Batt’s take on Halloween, an exclusive behind the scenes of Most Haunted, Creating the perfect Halloween party – how the professionals do it, the scary doll from The Conjuring, Lindsey Stirling, Karl Beattie’s Crime and Execution, our Mick’s Tape (for the ultimate Halloween Party!), The Epworth Poltergeist and much, much, more… This issue has been a tough one to produce for a number of reasons with editor Paul being poorly for the duration. But it’s your kind words and messages that have really kept both of us more determined than ever to get this issue to you – to say thank you for your support. (Remember to save a copy to your PC or Mac desktop first!)

With the imminent return of Most Haunted, Haunted Digital Magazine will give you unprecedented access and exclusives along the way. So remember -

#Dontbenormal – BE PARANORMAL! Available from the App stores.

Issue 7 - The Harrisville Haunting

We are back with a bang (and weeks before Bonfire Night too), we are back with a vengeance and we are back with not one issue of Haunted Digital Magazine but two issues of the leading paranormal magazine for people with a sense of humour, a sense of the unknown, a sense of spirit and a love of history and mystery fused with all things spooky that may indeed go bump in the night. I can hear you shouting out in your tens “why two issues?” and it’s a very good question – truth is that during the latter end of July, ALL of August and beginning of September our offices were possessed by impish demons and causing mayhem and havoc with our deadlines, our editorial meetings and our sanity!

Our latest feature packed magazine features all the regulars – Behind the Ouija Board: Living Spirits, Lee Roberts’ Ghost Girl of Sherwood Forest, The Secret Ghosthunter, Wickedpedia: The Fox Sisters and as usual the Most Haunted team have sent us their features – in between filming for their new series – WHAT? You didn’t know that? Where have you been? Watching Pick TV again? YES, they’re back doing what they love, we’ve been let into the inner sanctum of Most Haunted version 2.0 and all we can say is “HOLY SHIT!”

We also have The Harrisville Haunting that inspired the conjuring and so much more.. Enjoy the magazine, we apologise for the lateness but we hope that we have done our fans and our mum’s proud Remember – Don’t be normal – BE PARANORMAL!!! Available from the App Stores.
