twitter has gone into paranormal overdrive (just look at this)
ZAK BAGANS TO PRODUCE SHOW FOR UK CHANNEL!
YES, HOW DID YOU KNOW IT WAS THAT CHANNEL?
Zak Bagans, the man behind the hit TV series “Ghost Adventures” and more, has a new project with some international flavour, dare we call it International Rescue? Zak will be helping to bring the spooky to the UK with the new television series “Help! My House Is Haunted!” for the ReallyTV Channel, part of the UKTV Network
The 12-episode series has been created by Zak, who is already executive producer, and host of one of the channel’s #Frightday favourites, “Ghost Adventures.” The series will feature an expert team of international investigators: Chris Fleming USA, Sandy Lakdar FRANCE, and Barri Ghai UK. But you're going to have to wait as it won't be aired until 2018.
Here's how it will work... Families living in homes they believe are haunted will present a case file of paranormal activities to the experts, who will then research historical evidence. Using years of expertise and highly specialised technical equipment, the team will set to work to find answers to the unexplained and free homeowners from unwelcome spirits or learn how to live with them.
"My UK fan base is incredibly awesome, and I am excited to create this new series for them, we are working with the best team I could construct that will aid those families overseas who are being affected by severe levels of hauntings.” Zak Bagans
I am sure that more information will follow in the coming months but it is certainly a gentle spooky shove in the right direction for the UK in terms of paranormal shows, whilst there's love and affection for the plethora of USA shows that make their way over here to the UK, we are crying out for our very own series, something fresh and different. Let's hope it's a kick up the arse for the UK, hey it if it takes an American to exec produce and it features an Englishman, an American and a French woman to make channels sit up and take notice that the UK has something to offer in terms of paranormal TV then that can't be a bad thing, can it?
