SKY CINEMA HALLOWEEN BRINGING 50 SHADES OF SCARY TO #GHOSTOBER

Sky Cinema to bring a week of fright nights with a dedicated Halloween channel

Sky Cinema is bringing customers over a week of fright nights on a dedicated channel to mark the Halloween season. Sky Cinema Halloween, available from 23-31 October on Sky channel 303, will screen some of the greatest scary movies of all time, including the original Halloween (1978) on Sky Cinema for the very first time - as well as Rosemary's Baby (1968) and Hannibal horror Silence of the Lambs (1991).

Also available On Demand and via NOW TV, the collection also includes John Carpenter's The Thing, celebrating the 35th anniversary of its cinematic release this year, as well as more recent releases including 2016 thrillers Ouija: Origin of Evil, and the well-received The Girl With All The Gifts.
And following on from the successful cinematic release of 2017's It, fans of Stephen King can enjoy some of his finest stories on screen, including horror classics Carrie (1976) and Pet Sematary.
Sister channel Sky Cinema Animation – available on Sky channel 306 from 14 October-5 November - also joins in the fun this Halloween with a 'Family Frights Day'. After a dose of trick-or-treating, families can settle down to a spooky flick, with films including CoralineFrankenweenieThe Nightmare Before Christmas and Monster House.
Group Director of Sky Cinema Ian Lewis said: "Sky Cinema Halloween is the latest of our dedicated genre channels and brings together over 50 scary movies for a non-stop week of horror. With a range of classics and recent releases there is something for everyone, and it is another great example of the continued innovation that helps to make Sky Cinema the UK and Ireland's leading in-home movies service."
“The whole family can also enjoy Halloween on Sky Cinema on our dedicated animation channel with a ‘Family Frights Day’ on 31 October and a line-up including Monster House and The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
