Ghosts, Witchcraft, UFOs .. just another night in the paranormal hot spot known as Ashfield....

7 MEN CHASING GHOSTS - IT'S ALL IN THE JEANS YOU KNOW!!

We've discovered Nottinghamshire's 'most haunted' location - and it may surprise you...

FLASHBACK TO JULY 2011
Six years ago, we made a FOI (Freedom of Information) request asking for police reports of Paranormal Activity, UFOs, Ghosts and Witchcraft ...

We got the information back and then BOOM, it was in the papers, on social media and on the radio.

46 reports of Witchcraft, 3 UFO Sightings, and 34 "incidents" involving Ghosts.

Fast forward 6 years and have things changed? Now we all know that people have been speculating about where the most haunted place in Nottinghamshire is. Let's not forget we have the ghost of Lady Middleton at Wollaton Hall, the Galleries of Justice, Newstead Abbey, Sherwood Forest, The Village, Nottingham Castle and so many more tales of paranormal activity.

But earlier, the Nottingham Post has officially ‘revealed’ that the most haunted part of the county is … Ashfield.

Now, you're all thinking.. WHAT? What is this place Ashfield you talk of, how can a field of ash be the top Nottinghamshire hot spot.

How can this North Nottinghamshire district, home to the leading paranormal magazine HAUNTED, and home to the leading paranormal Facebook LIVE #Haun7edLIVE. Exclusive figures released by Nottinghamshire Police have revealed that in the last two years, there have been 11 sightings of ghosts reported to police, and a staggering 87 reports of witchcraft in Ashfield North.
"The numbers, which were obtained by a Freedom of Information request, show the number of times police were called about UFOs, paranormal activity, ghosts and witches"
DOES THIS MAN NEED A HAIRCUT?
@Haun7edLIVE, who ghost hunt LIVE on Facebook all over Ashfield have encountered several potential incidents of "Witchcraft" in the area, and at one point felt surrounded by, what they described as "not very nice people". James Pykett, part of @Haun7edLIVE and owner of the Facebook page Haunted Nottinghamshire says "it's no surprise to be honest, we investigate all over Nottinghamshire and as most of the boys are from this area, locations are easily accessible in Ashfield and we have had lots of paranormal activity, and as for Witchcraft, let's just say that i can easily understand why there has been 87 reports of Witchcraft in Ashfield North".
ASHFIELD NORTH..... IT'S DEAD GOOD!!
Jason Wall, also part of #Haun7edLIVE can only agree with James on what has been reported, "recently we were on the Teversal Trail and it felt like we were being watched, we picked up a lot of female names and it felt like we were being circled". #Haun7edLIVE recently found out that there was a woman from the area, surname MOORE, who was found to be a Witch and executed at Ely, Cambridgeshire. This could be the same as Ghosts of Shepherdstown, without a shadow of a doubt..."
"Silverhill Pit, now a woodland walk is one of the highest points in Nottinghamshire, it has been a viewing point for many a UFO enthusiast"
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “We get a lot of calls into our control room each day about a variety of topics and incidents. The majority of calls we receive are for genuine emergencies and are hugely important. However, sometimes calls are neither an emergency nor a police matter. Avoiding such calls allows us to be available when the public really do need us. We are a very busy dealing with genuine calls for service and receiving calls about paranormal activity, UFOs and witches may delay our ability to pick up the phone to someone in real need of help.”
THE WITCHES HIDEOUT?
Fair enough, whilst the local police are too busy to take these type of calls seriously, we respect that, CALL US instead, call #Haun7edLIVE, call Haunted Magazine... we will certainly look into it....  You can reach #Haun7edLIVE at https://www.facebook.com/haun7edLIVE/ or on Twitter at https://twitter.com/haun7edLIVE
We also are shouting out to the Nottingham Post who reported this, come and join us on a ghost hunt, see for yourself.. if you dare...

#Haun7edLIVE are (left to right): Pete Cox, Jason Wall, Lee Roberts, James Pykett, Paul Stevenson, Andy Soar and Simon Powell
